Camp Life

Camp life that’s fit for a King or Queen!

Indulge in comfort and camaraderie after a long day in the saddle.

It’s been over 20 years since we first started setting up camp in the Canadian Rockies. We know what riders want after a long day on the road: rest, recovery and a good dose of camaraderie!

Racers need a place to relax and recharge between stages, not worry about details. So our team takes care of them for you. We set up the tents, cook the meals and provide a place to shower for both you and your bike (at a bike wash station, of course). There is even massage and athletic therapy available. So that once you cross the finish line, all you have to do is concentrate on the race ahead.

An epic adventure like the TransRockies Gravel Royale is where stories are made. But what’s a great story without someone to share it with? We get it! That’s why, at camp, we set up a little place we like to call Chillville. It’s a spot dedicated to strengthening the bond between racers and building the stoke. You can trust that it will always be filled with drinks, snacks and more than a few tall tales.

Cross the finish line, kick off your shoes and enjoy exceptional camp hospitality—TransRockies style!

See below for camp support details.

Camp Support

Finish Line
When you cross the finish line each day, our announcer will greet you and snacks and drinks will be nearby. Note that there is no cellular/data coverage at Nipika. Limited Starlink based internet will be available.

Tent Camp
Our fleet of Eureka 3-season backpacking tents are ready for you. The tent camp is in operation for 4 full nights starting on the arrival day (Stage 0).

One of the most important factors in having a successful stage race is nutrition, both on and off the course. On the course we've got you covered with great products from Xact Nutrition Labs and lots of fresh fruit and snacks.

Shower Truck
A hot shower is just minutes away at our shower truck. We ask riders to limit their showers to 5 minutes to ensure that everyone gets a shower – water supply is limited in most locations.

Mechanical Support
The TransRockies Mechanic Team will be onsite for support. Credit card payment is available but please bring cash as credit card processing may be intermittent.

Bike Wash
A Bike Wash station will be set up at camp.

Massage
Our team of Registered Massage Therapists will be on-site at every stage. Bookings will be available starting at sign-on in Panorama. Reservations are recommended. $65 per 30 minutes. Book your massage HERE.

Meals
Meals will be hosted either in our meal tent. Breakfast is served from 6:00 - 7:30 AM and dinners are served from 5-7 PM daily.  Menu is subject to change.

Note that Lunch is not provided. We will arrange to have food options available to purchase for lunch at camp, but options may be limited.
